The Fox Goes Fishing

A mother fox takes her cub fishing. It is the first time the cub goes fishing. He is very happy. They go to the riverside. The mother fox helps the cub to set the bait. The cub begin to fish seriously. 

 After some time, the cub becomes tired of waiting. He has no caught any fish.Just then, a dragonfly flies down onto the cub's fishing rod. The cub pull his fishing rod slowly.

The cub wants to catch the dragonfly. But the dragonfly flies away. The cub puts down his fishing rod. He chases the dragonfly, but the dragonfly gets away from him. The cub becomes tired. He decides to sit down and fish again.

suddenly the cub sees some butterflies flying by. He puts down his fishing rod and start chasing the butterflies. The butterflies fly about. The cub keep chasing them until he becomes tired.

The cub cannot catch the butterflies too. He goes back to the riverside. He tries to fish again.By now the mother cub has already caught many fish. The cub asks'' Mother, why can't i catch any fish?

The mother cub says: '' First, chase the dragonfly. Next you chase the butterflies. How can you catch any fish at all?''


The mother cub adds:'' When you do something, do it properly. Don't do too many things at one time''.


The cub listens to what his mother says. He then site down to fish properly. Soon he catches a big fish.
